The Democratic Green Political Rwanda (DGPR) held a General meeting of the party. The list of parliamentary candidates who will represent the party in the elections scheduled for July 2024 was approved.
On Friday, May 11, 2024, in this meeting of DGPR , the manifesto was approved and the goals and objectives were discussed. Not only that, because there was also appreciation for the role of DGPR in the achievements in the field of general development of the country.
The president of DGPR , Dr. Frank Habineza emphasized the good things they have achieved by implementing the contents of their manifesto.
He said, “Regarding environmental protection, we would like all household waste to be taken to one place and processed, not only in Nduba
but we also believe that safety is important, which is why we are thinking about supporting the policy that whenever Rwanda is threatened, we will help.”
In the speech of the Commissioner of DGPR,Hon.Senator Mugisha Alexis says that there have been many achievements in education and national security. He said,
“We as the Democratic Green Party of Rwanda have seen the hard work of the teacher and we hope that his salary will be increased so that he can do his job well.”
He continued and said that regarding national security, the party fought for the protection of the environment supported the plan to have a satellite to help the military manage the security of Rwanda’s air.
The MP Ntezimana Jean Claude, Secretary General of the Party for Democracy and Environmental Protection in Rwanda, returned to the idea of DGPR in establishing independent notaries and how it has helped the people and the good behavior of independent notaries.
One of the members of this party requested that a central security council be established at the level of the country and this level be done.
The DGPR was founded in 2009 and registered in August 2013. It is represented in the Legislative Assembly and in the Senate.
This party will present a candidate for the position of President of the Republic scheduled for July 2024, that is Dr Frank Habineza .
